We do this through unique, curated experiences.
Our exclusive tastings, lectures and tours empower individuals to explore further into the world of viticulture and fully appreciate the skill, creativity and passion that goes into crafting each vintage.

How did it start?

SOM is led by our Founder and CEO, Anastasiya Kizima. Anastasiya has an MBA from University of Oxford and an accolade in wine studies (WSET Lever 3, Hons). She has several years of experience ranging from culinary school to hospitality and tourism across 15 European countries. Now, she has 18+ years of corporate and innovation experience and is an Associate Fellow at Oxford where she also lectures.

Anastasiya found her passion for wine back when she lived in Tuscany, Italy. As she sat in the little classroom in Florence back in 2009 studying the history and culture of Italian wines, she was continuously impressed with the broad range of examples the long, boot shaped country had to offer. She was fascinated with how much of an impact the terroir and the winemaker can have on the end product and the subject completely captivated her.

From that point on, Anastasiya continued to study wine formally (eventually at WSET in London), was a member of countless wine tasting societies (blind and otherwise) and continued to travel and explore wine regions (what a struggle, right?), making a point to meet the people behind the bottle and learn as much as possible about the winery and area.

The more she ventured the more she fell in love with what is truly a labour of tradition, love and artistry. She then founded SOM to bring these incredible stories to her members, allowing them to experience it for themselves. Wine is not just a drink, it is a whole world of hard work, culture and geography in a glass. Ready to dive on in?
