Sparkling Heritage: An Evening at the Tower of London

£125.00

For one night only, step beyond the crowds and into history with SOM Wine Club.

For nearly a thousand years, the Tower of London has stood as one of Britain’s most iconic landmarks. Built by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, it has served as a royal palace, fortress and treasury, as well as a place of ceremony and legend. Today, the Tower is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, drawing millions of visitors each year to its storied walls.

Our private function begins at 19:00, after the Tower has closed to the public and when the gates are locked and the fortress is yours alone. Guests will gather in the Fusiliers’ Rooms, home to the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers - a historic infantry regiment with origins dating back to 1685, renowned for their incredible service across centuries of British history. From its earliest campaigns in Europe to modern-day service across the globe, the regiment is renowned for its courage, discipline and tradition.

The Regimental Headquarters remain within the Tower of London, where the Fusiliers’ Rooms preserve this proud legacy at the heart of one of Britain’s most iconic landmarks. To host a private function in these historic chambers is to step into a living tradition.

Guests will be greeted with a sparkling reception, followed by a sparkling wine lecture and a guided tasting of four exceptional English sparkling wines, each hand-picked by our CEO for its elegance and craftsmanship.

To complement the wines, guest will also be able to enjoy a selection of artisanal English cheeses that are paired with the wines and celebrate the very best of Britain’s producers.

To honour the setting and the occasion, this is an invitation only, black-tie event. Guests are encouraged to dress formally and share in an atmosphere of celebration befitting one of England’s most iconic landmarks.

With the Tower of London as your private backdrop, this is more than a tasting: it is an intimate evening of heritage and discovery and an experience few will ever share.

Event start: 19:00
